post /api/taxes

Creates a Tax resource.

Creates a tax in the current organization. Give it a rate (a percentage from 0 to 100), a name, and the Country it applies to as an IRI in country. Send Flowkiwi-Locale to set the translatable name and description for a specific locale.

Headers

NameTypeRequiredDescription
Flowkiwi-Localestring-Specifies the locale for properties that support localization. If not provided, the default locale will be used.

Request body

PropertyTypeRequiredDescription
countrystringrequiredThe Country to which this tax belongs. Requires the instance_params:read scope. Returned null when the scope is missing.
descriptionstring | null-A short description of the tax.
namestring | null-The name of the tax.
ratestring-The tax rate as a percentage between 0 and 100, as a decimal string with up to two decimals (e.g. "20", "5.5"). A JSON number is rejected with a 422; the stored rate is read back with exactly two decimals.
