# Update a supplier

> Partially update a supplier using JSON Merge Patch.

`PATCH /rest/api/suppliers/{id}`

Updates the Supplier resource.

Partially updates a supplier. The body is a [JSON Merge Patch](https://datatracker.ietf.org/doc/html/rfc7396) document: include only the fields you want to change, such as the `name`.

> **Translations**
>
> Send `X-Flowkiwi-Locale` to update the `name` for a specific locale. Other locales keep their existing translation.
