# Retrieve a metafield owner type

> Retrieve a single metafield owner type.

`GET /rest/api/metafield_owner_types/{id}`

Retrieves a MetafieldOwnerType resource.

Returns a single metafield owner type by id, including its `allowedConstraints`.
