# Update a country

> Partially update a country using JSON Merge Patch.

`PATCH /rest/api/countries/{id}`

Updates the Country resource.

Partially updates a country. The body is a [JSON Merge Patch](https://datatracker.ietf.org/doc/html/rfc7396) document: include only the fields you want to change, such as the `name` or `code`.

> **Translations**
>
> Send `X-Flowkiwi-Locale` to update the `name` for a specific locale. Other locales keep their existing translation.
